# 58 - UIAM [Part I]

Assalamualaikum w. b. h.

today is my 1st day in UIAM, Gombak. dis is my 2nd visit but it's not an ordinary like other day before. it supposed to be a special day i thaught but it turned da way around. it was full of uncertain things dat i never expected. in short, p.r.o.b.l.e.m.s. being a deferred student is such a huge regret for me. i face lot of troubles. what a miserable day. ouh, i really wish i can turn da time forward! dun want to look back or recall da unpleasant memories.

my dad and i arrive around 8.30 am. we plan to come early as we hope we can settle early. based on my reg letter, i shall reg at mahallah Sumayyah office. so, we focus to go there first. i'm surprised to see nobody there for registration. plus, da block is on renovation. how could i'm not be informed wif dat condition?! then, we ask a committee bout da problem. she tells us dat mahallah Sumayyah is not occupy at all for short sem registration. she passes our case to her project manager, Sister Inani. she informs us dat students from mahallah Sumayyah and Safiyyah have been transferred to mahallah Asma, Hafsah, Ameenah, etc due to renovation. A&R should have informed da information previously. next, we straight away to Admission and Records Dept. (A&R) to activate my status. after waiting fer about one hour and thirty minutes there, i'm only given a new matric no.

then, we need to go to Student Affairs Dept. (STAD) to ask bout my placement. alhamdulillah, i meet my super duper senior there. who else, STFian! yeay! but, it's not an express ticket. follow da procedure plis. again, we have to wait. i understand da situation so, i still can control my anger and pretend to be cool all da day. *keep smiling* most of mahallah are already occupied by students and outsiders who come for debate competition. i noe when i see many school buses including from boarding school. *haha* juz cant get rid da feel of proud to be a part of it! ok2. back to STAD. at first, i've been offered to mahallah Ameenah due to my condition but i juz try my best to apply for mahallah Asma as most of my friends-coursemates-exroommates are staying there. unfortunately, both Asma and Hafsah are full. i dunno what they mean by full. ouh, maybe students from renovated mahallah are transferred here. whatever. after all, i still need a room. after some calls, questioning, answering, arguing, thinking, chatting, bla. bla.bla. at last i get my room. haaaaaaah. it almost 12.30 noon and we realised dat we dun havva breakfirst yet.

my dad and i proceed to mahallah Hafsah office to register. they juz to shut da door as it's lunch hour already. wait a minute! i can't collect my room key. ouh, not again! plis..i'm sick of waiting. taaruf is almost to start and my problems are not settle.

to be continued.....

# 57 - i'm leaving

*ecece*

# 56 - Maybankard Visa Debit

hola, everyone!

today i'm going to BSN to buy pin number for PTPTN. i'm thinking of applying online before da registration day since i dun want to trouble myself go here and there to get everything settle. i've already prepared all da related certified documents including da 'setem hasil'.

i'm an organise person i think..i put my things in order. i love to write to do list and i like to see my work done completely according to my arrangements. yeah, everyone will pleased when their mission accomplished successfully, rite?! uh, in certain cases, i always tried hard to be prepared when da exam come but i juz can't help wif it. even most of us having da same 'symptom'...last minute study! hehe;D

dis behaviour seem stick on me since i was at school. being a boarding school student wif a hectic life has taught me of how precious da time is. all homework need to be finished and submitted on time. weekend is full of extra classes. so, i need to divide my time wisely. ye la..mne nak basuh-sidai-lipat-gosok baju lg, nak jge warden office lg, nak buat itu ini..no time for outing! urgghh..sick of dat word! dats why i choose UIA rite now, so i can go home almost every week! hehe;D

ok, finished da 1st part. next, i'm going to Maybank. dis is my 2nd time to get my Maybank card active. on my 1st visit, i didn't have much time to wait fer my turn as my lil brother had to rush up going back to his campus in Ipoh. His bus ticket was at 1 o'clock. so, we had to leave early. today, my mom agreed to accompany me. after filling da form, i had to wait 'awhile' as usual. Realising dat my Maybank card wasn't active anymore due to 'no transaction for a long period', i need to sign up for a new replacement card. *mne nak ade pengeluaran, duit pun takde* i was asked to choose either da yellow card or da cherries one. of course i choose da cherries card coz i was attracked by da colours. besides, dis is what i want.

a MAYBANKARD VISA DEBIT!!!

dis card havva lots of benefits. it's not only lets you withdraw cash at ATMs but also make direct debit purchases at merchant locations displaying the Visa logo. ouh, really happy to have it FREE! if u want to convert ur Maybankard Bank Card to Maybankard Visa Debit, u need to pay RM12. For any of u who new bout dis, u can read this:

http://www.maybank2u.com.my/mbb_info/m2u/public/personalDetail04.do?channelId=CRD-Cards&cntTypeId=0&cntKey=CRD03.03&programId=CRD03-DebitCards&chCatId=/mbb/Personal/CRD-Cards

before going home, i drop by to a photo shop. not for phototaking but only to cut my photo size passport to 3x3.5cm size. what make my blood temperature hike is da lady said dat she dun noe how to cut my photo. she only noe passport and license size. *hello! kan ade ruler melekat kat sebelah pemotong tu..tak kan tak reti ukur kot. ukur je la lebar 3 cm, potong. panjang 3.5cm, potong. susah ke? haih, nak aje aku masuk belakang kaunter, potong sendiri. then, da lady said: size yg ade cume 3x2.5cm. huh?! customer nak saiz 3x3.5cm, tak payah la bagitau saiz lain. mungkin de hanya tau potong ikut line pada gambar. blom blaja cara ukur saiz lain lagi kot. tak apelah. dimaafkan. ku pulang dengan tanda tanya.

notakaki: tetap tak puas hati sbb kena potong sndr.
dah ak je yg pass blaja ukur-mengukur.

# 55 - 10 things we waste

1. Our Knowledge: Wasted by not taking action with it.

2. Our Actions: Wasted by committing them without sincerity.

3. Our Wealth: Wasted by using on things that will not bring us ajr (reward from Allah). We waste our money, our status, our authority, on things which have no benefit in this life or in akhirah (hereafter).

4. Our Hearts: Wasted because they are empty from the love of Allah, and the feeling of longing to go to Him, and a feeling of peace and contentment. In it's place, our hearts are filled with something or someone else.

5. Our Bodies: Wasted because we don't use them in ibadah (worship) and service of Allah.

6. Our Love: Our emotional love is misdirected, not towards Allah, but towards something/someone else.

7. Our Time: Wasted, not used properly, to compensate for that which has passed, by doing what is righteous to make up for past deeds.

8. Our Intellect: Wasted on things that are not beneficial, that are detrimental to society and the individual, not in contemplation or reflection.

9. Our Service: Wasted in service of someone who will not bring us closer to Allah, or benefit in dunyaa(this world).

10. Our Dhikr (Remembrence of Allah): Wasted, because it does not effect us or our hearts.

notakaki: together we improve our iman..

# 54 - who stole my heart?

Who stole my heart?

(From A Girl’s Perspective)

Who stole my heart?
Which is only meant for Him.
Was it he that stole my heart?
The creature that (looked like) cared for me,
And not Him, The Creator, that cared for me ever since I was just a destiny?

Who stole my heart?
The boy that bought me gifts,
But not Him that gave eyes for me to see the gifts?
Or he whom is the boaster of love rather than proves,
And not Him that proves whenever, wherever of his loves?

Who stole my heart?
The boy that gives me security and safety,
In this very world only,
And not Him that provides protection to that boy and me,
And that guides us in this world and the next safely?

Who stole my heart?
The boy, handsome and charming in looks,
And that adores me through his smile?
Not Him who made me and him the perfect creature ever to exist,
And always made reasons for us to smile?

Who stole this heart?
The boy who loves me sincerely?
And Not Him that forgives my never-ending sins mercifully?
But that boy is a thief, a stealer (of my heart),
That rightfully belongs to Him,
...The Almighty...

# 52 - free service??!

Assalamualaikum w.b.h.

Betulkan?!

Pukul 7.30 pagi, kami dah bertolak. We're da 1st customers. 1st impression saya semasa sampai, saya rasa nama kedai ni agak kurang commercial.

Saya lihat kedai komputer tu agak kurang tersusun.

Maklumlah, printer ink memang mahal. Menarik juga hasilnya.

Saya difahamkan pekerja² di situ tiada kelulusan IT pun. Semuanya bekerjasama buka perniagaan atas dasar minat. Klinik Komputer ni dah beroperasi selama 2 tahun. Hebatkan semangat mereka. Kedai tu pun cuti hari Jumaat sahaja.

Hampir pukul 5.00 petang, semuanya selesai. Alhamdulillah.

notakaki: Maaf. Tiada gambar untuk tatapan.
Saya tak bawa kamera. huhu~

----------------------------------------------------------

Jika kamu memancing ikan

setelah dia mula menyayangimu, hendaklah kamu menjaga hatinya
janganlah sesekali kamu terus meninggalkannya begitu sahaja

Jika kamu menadah air, biarlah berpada
jangan terlalu mengharap pada takungannya
dan janganlah menganggap ia begitu teguh
cukuplah sekadar keperluanmu

kerana apabila sekali ia retak
tentu sukar untuk kamu menampalnya semula
akhirnya ia dibuang
sedangkan jika kamu cuba membaikinya
mungkin ia masih boleh digunakan lagi

Begitu juga jika kamu memiliki seseorang, terimalah seadanya
apabila sekali dia melakukan kesilapan
bukan mudah bagi kamu untuk menerimanya
akhirnya kamu kecewa dan meninggalkannya
sedangkan jika kamu memaafkannya

jangan terlalu ingin mengejar kelazatan

jangan terlalu mengejar kesempurnaan
kelak, kamu akan kehilangannya apabila dia menjadi milik orang lain
..kamu juga yang akan menyesal..

# 50 - Aspire One Netbook

Assalamualaikum w.b.h.

it's my 50th entry!!!

Hye, everyone! How's ur day?! I wish dat everything u've planned will end up successfully. Alhamdulillah, dis is my 50th entry fer dis blog. I'm happy to have it as companion when there are up and down in me. Ouh ya, sorry to leave u without any sign. I'm away fer a vacation in my parents' hometown, Sabak Bernam. After a couple of days without any update, here I come back wif a new stuff ;D

Last Saturday, my dad, Amir and I went to Kuala Lumpur PC Fair at KL Conventional Centre. Our purpose was to buy a small size laptop fer me. Actually, I already have a big ACER laptop before but it's quite heavy fer me to bring it all da way to campus. Furthermore, it was given fer me just fer temporary use as da laptop was my dad's. My lil bro also asked fer his own PC as he had difficulties especially when the assignments were waiting to be settled. So, I planned to let go my laptop to him and I bought a new but small one.

On dat day, my dad parked da car at Kampong Baru LRT Station. We started to walk, walk and walk until da train arrived KLCC station. Then, stopped awhile to buy return tickets, otherwise we had to queue up on da way back. Our journey continued as we had to climb up to KL Conventional Centre where da PC Fair was held.

We didn't go to booth by booth as we were running of time.*wanna go hometown dat evening* ACER booth juz catched our eyes and we went straight away to search fer a small netbook. I looked around another booth to survey da price and design but I preferred ACER as it's cheaper than another brand. After negotiating da price and having briefing about da features, I finally decided to buy Aspire One Netbook.

We had to wait fer about an hour maybe before we could get da netbook. urgghh! With no chair and crowd everywhere, at last I temporary lost of conciousness. Alhamdulillah, I managed to hide at da back of da booth and laid fer awhile..what a pity! After 5 min, I could stand and rest until da payment was settled. Then, we walked again all da way back and got our car at Kampong Baru Station.

.....haaaaaah.....
*such a relieve*

# 49 - Cookie Thief

A woman was waiting at the airport one night,
With several long hours before her flight.
She hunted for a book in the airport shop,
Bought a bag of cookies and found a place to drop.

She was engrossed in her book, but happened to see,
That the man beside her, as bold as could be,
Grabbed a cookie or two from the bag between,
Which she tried to ignore to avoid a scene

She read, munched cookies, and watched the clock,
As the gustly "cookie thief" diminished her stock
She was getting more irritated as the minutes ticked by,
Thinking, "If I wasn't so nice, I'd blacken his eye!"

With each cookie she took, he took one too.
When only one was left, she wondered what he'd do.
with a smile on his face and a nervous laugh,
He took the last cookie and broke it in half.

He offered her half, and he ate the other.
She snatched it from him and thought, "Oh brother,
This guy has some nerve, and he's also so rude,
Why, he didn't even show any gratitude!"

She had never known when she had been so galled,
And sighed with relief when her flight was called.
She gathered her belongings and headed for the gate,
Refusing to look at the "thieving ingrate".

She boarded the plane and sank in her seat,
Then sought her book, which was almost complete.
As she reached in her baggage, she gasped with surprise.
There were her bag of cookies in front of her eyes!

"If mine are here," she moaned with despair.
"Then the others were his and he tried to share!"
Too late to apologize, she realized with grief,
That she was the rude one, the ingrate, the thief!!!!

# 45 - Sworn In Ceremony

KUALA LUMPUR, Friday: Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak was sworn in as Malaysia’s sixth prime minister, taking over from Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi who stepped down after leading the country for over five years. Najib, 55, took his oath of office before Yang di Pertuan Agong Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin at Istana Negara.

Dressed in a black baju Melayu complete with sampin, Najib arrived at the palace, accompanied by his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor. Together they entered the Balairong Seri at 10am followed by Abdullah and his wife, Datin Seri Jeanne Abdullah.

A total of 319 guests, including former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his wife, Tun Dr Siti Hasmah Mohd Ali, attended the historic event.

The ceremony, steeped in tradition, began when Tuanku Mizan and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tuanku Zahirah entered the throne room at 10.05am and the national anthem was played by the Malaysian Armed Forces band.

After taking his oaths of office, loyalty and confidentiality, Najib signed the four instruments of appointment, followed by the reading of the doa selamat. The instruments of appointment were then signed by Court of Appeal President Tan Sri Alauddin Mohd Sheriff as witness and handed over to Chief Secretary to the Government, Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan.

At the same ceremony, Abdullah was conferred the nation’s highest award, the Seri Maharaja Mangku Negara (SMN), while Jeanne received the Seri Setia Mahkota (SSM) by Tuanku Mizan. Both awards carry the title Tun.

Abdullah also apologised for any wrongdoing, before leaving for the Defence Ministry where he was given a military send-off.

Abdullah attended his last meeting with the Armed Forces Council before the ceremony, which was held at the parade ground in front of the main ministry building. He inspected a guard-of-honour comprising three officers and 103 soldiers from the First Royal Malay Regiment, led by Mejar Norhisyam Kamar.

Abdullah shook hands with senior military officials and ministry staff before he got on a special open-topped four-wheel-drive vehicle that was pulled by officers from the Army, Navy and Air Force. Along the way, the ministry choir sang Bertemu dan Berpisah, the Bahasa Malaysia version of Auld Lang Syne.

Later in PUTRAJAYA, he and his wife Datin Seri Jeanne Abdullah hosted a lunch for some 130 staff from the Prime Minister’s Office and Defence Minister’s Office at Seri Perdana.
Abdullah told his staff that he appreciated their support and hard work throughout his five-year tenure as premier.
